Purpose

 

Addressable fire alarm control panel (AFACP) together with combination smoke detectors "Agat-10" and input-output devices "Agat-12" is designed for installation in railway cars to determine the place of fire in early stages of its occurrence.

 

Functions

• cyclic polling of combination smoke detectors "Agat" through the two-wire signal line
• visual and audible alarm when it detects “fire” or “system failure” with indication of the date and place of their occurrence 
• the signal line operation in loopback mode or loop mode, which saves working capacity of system in case of open or short circuit in the signal line
• automatic tests on the performance of smoke detectors, the signal line and the detector
• archiving of alarm messages with the time and date of their occurrence according to the indications of non-volatile inbuilt real-time clock
• switching on and off any smoke detector, as well as any sensor, which is the part of the detector on signal from the control panel
• possibility of transferring information to the top-level equipment through RS-485 interface (MODBUS protocol)
• performing functions of the security and conductor call systems together with smoke detectors and passenger remote controls
• control reliability of information transmitted through the signal line
• the possibility to view analog parameters values measured by sensors of smoke detectors
• automatic switching of fire extinguishing equipment when fire is detected in confined spaces

 

The design of FACP "Prometey-05" was carried out in accordance with the requirements of DSTU EN54, harmonized with the European standards EN54.
