Purpose

 

To manage electric locomotive in traction and regenerative braking modes.

 

Composition

 

Set of cables;
Main controller setup unit (MCSU);
Main controller display unit (MCDU);
Main controller quantized output unit (MCQOU)


The distribution of functions between equipment sets "HAREXP-KM"
driving mode setting – MCSU
set modes performance – MCQOU
set modes display – MCDU, MCQOU.


All the units are connected via the CAN 2.0B interface with the help of cables included in delivery.

 

Technical characteristics

 

DC mains voltage - from 50 to 100V;
Power consumption over mains voltage is not more than 100 W;
commutated current of  MCQOU control relays (at active load) is not more than 12.0 A.


Equipment set "HAREXP-KM" is installed in VL11M6 electric locomotives.


Equipment set " HAREXP-KM " is designed to set control modes, display the traffic route of electric locomotive, the current position and the current connection, switching of electric locomotive circuits in accordance with set diagram, as well as to transmit information to the on-board computer.

 

Provides:

 

  • assignment of the traffic route of electric locomotive;
  • position assignment in the traction mode;
  • quick set and reset to running positions in the traction mode;
  • assignment of field decay positions in the traction mode;
  • position assignment in the regenerative braking mode.
  • assignment of connection type in the regenerative braking mode.
  • blocking of position setting from nonoperating cabin display of:

a) the traffic route;

b) the current traction position;

c) the current step of braking;

d)the current connection type in the regenerative braking mode with the help of MCDU;

  • switching of electric locomotive circuits through MCQOU (in accordance with the state table and position of the principal mode handle and forward-reverse switch of MCSU;
  • local indication of switching commands of actuating switching nodes for MCQOU;
  • full duplication of information displayed on MCDU with the help of MCQOU;
  • forming of analog control signal in the range from 0 to 15.5 with 15 stages of recuperative braking (with the increment of 1 V) with the help of MCQOU;
  • setting and display of analog control signal parameters with the help of MCQOU;
  • electrical connection between the components with the help of cable set;
  • power supply of the package components from the onboard network of electric locomotive with 50 V DC voltage.
